Earlier this year, in the depths of winter, we cupped pre-shipment samples from Burundi. They stood out immediately - bright, sweet, and full of life - exactly the kind of coffee we love to drink and share. For Fields, our more adventurous coffees, this felt like a natural fit - something vibrant, expressive, and a little unexpected. It had been a while since we last sourced from Burundi, and this was the right moment to bring it back into focus. Not just for its quality, but for what it represents: clarity and potential. We partnered with Omwani, whose dedication to East Africa is clear in the coffees they source.
